在中国古代，人们相信死后生命仍在继续And since respect for elders is very important in Chinese culture, there is a special festival dedicated to remembering ones ancestors.。

由于在中国文化中非常注重尊重长辈，专门有一个节日用于纪念祖先This festival is called the Qingming Festival, or Qingming Jie in Chinese.。

这个节日叫做清明节，中文读作Qingming JieThe Qingming festival falls on the 15th day after the Spring Equinox, right as spring arrives.。

清明节是春分后的第15天，正好是春天来临The words qing ming literally means"clear" and "bright" - quite a fitting description of the beautiful weather around this time of the year.。

“清明”这个词字面上的意思是干净明亮——非常贴切地描述了一年中这个时候的美好天气During the Qingming festival, Chinese families visit the graves of their ancestors to sweep away dust and fallen leaves in order to keep the family tombs clean.。

一些家庭还会烧纸钱，他们认为这是死后世界的流通货币Nowadays, people are becoming more aware of pollution problems so this tradition is no longer as popular as it once was.。
