第三篇：旅游话题。

 

今天给大家分享我最近读的一篇文章，讲的是关于旅行的话题来自100 Topics for TEM8 Writing，不过这本书好像绝版了，我根据文章后面的网址在网上搜这篇文章，（因为想复制一下原文好省点心力），仍然渺无踪影。

这篇文章像是一篇哲理性的散文，也有议论的成分，当我们写关于旅游话题的作文时，常常感到肚子里的墨水不够用，很多时候其实是语料积累不够，这篇短短300词的文章里面有很多东西值得模仿借鉴一如往常，我会详细解释里面的语言点并适当扩充，丰富表达，请君笑纳。

disappoint her fans.她决定取消这场音乐会，肯定会使她的歌迷失望在写作或翻译中，将形容词用上它的动词形式，也就是让形容词“动起来”，使英文更加简洁，生动再比如：This news will 。

探索逐梦发现②---⑤句与第①句话构成因果关系，因为人们可能后悔没做的事，所以要去探索发现。bowline：帆脚索，长这个样子。

sail away from+地点=sail far from+地点，表示“离开某地出发远航”harbour，做名词意为“港湾”作动词表示to keep feelings or thoughts, especially negative ones, in your mind for a long time。

，“怀有，心怀”，例如《哪吒》那部电影，有句台词是：人心中的成见是一座大山（People harbour prejudices which are tantamount to the formidable 。

mountain.）其中be tantamount to指“相当于”，formidable指“可怕的，难以对付的”trade wind，表示“信风”，是个地理上的概念，为什么信风翻译成trade wind(

②句改写成：Endorphin to habitual runners is what travel is to people. 我们可以思考一下，将这个短句放在这段开头，充当主题句，①和②就是这句话的解释，会不会更好呢？

get off on指“因…而兴奋”kick-in，做名词，指“开始”由动词短语kick in 而来，也表示“开始”在这里可以发现一个规律，英语中，有些动词短语加连字符号可以构成名词形式，例如，动词短语。

clean up变成名词是clean-up,比如：They helped us out with the clean-up. 他们帮助我们做大扫除另，pick-up service：接送服务endorphin。

指“啡肽”，能缓解压力,增强愉悦感，而运动就能刺激内啡肽boost，名词，表示something that helps or encourages sb/sth，帮助，激励jolt |dʒəʊlt/，表示。

= take proactive steps to do,政府工作报告中经常用的短语，“采取行动做某事” be conditioned to sth 是be used to sth，be accustomed to sth, 。

be given to sth 的高级版本，表示“习惯于某事”，to 为介词，所以若要表达“习惯做某事”，to 后接doing 即可security, conformity, and conservatism,。

这里没有翻译成“安全，遵守，保守”而是翻译成了符合汉语表达习惯的四字短语，“稳定保守和墨守成规”，使译文更加有节奏感反过来进行汉译英的时候，我们根据语义把四字短语择一译出，比如， “五光十色”翻译成“multicolored

”,“街谈巷议”翻译成“street gossips”but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. 。

此句是用否定的比较级表达最高级的含义，很好用按照我们正常思路，应该是，a secure future is the most damaging thing to the adventurous spirit. 可这里用了。

nothing + 比较级，表达最高级的含义，表达更加地道整句话是个复杂句，红色字体是连词，这4个连词连接5个谓语动词（下划线部分），虽复杂，但这句话就是用了连词来凸显逻辑关系，一环扣一环，层层递进，体现了英语的“形合”特点。

我们可以借鉴模仿用在我们自己的写作中去例如我们仿写一下关于“网购”的话题,这句话适合用在第一段段首：Presently online shopping becomes an irreversible  trend and 

winshearts in China because /in that/on the ground that it entertains several advantages, all of which brings great benefits to people

of every description. (这里我没有完全套句式，把最后的but,改成However,另起一段专门写网购的弊端)假设第二段就集中阐释网购的好处第三段转折:However, its pitfalls also stand out

 come from 我们也可以用derive from, stem from来进行同义替换。 hence=thus=therefore, 因此。不做连词使用，都是副词。怎么写开阔眼界？

说到旅行的意义作用，写一个开阔眼界的点必不可少，于是类似于with the development of technology 这样一个千篇一律表达，“broaden our horizons”,好一点的可能会用

extend the breadth of our vision, 接着后文就没有具体例子了,这种只有适合作文字数要求一百来字的大学英语四级作文我们要给主题句加点“料”，看看这段文字，它是怎么扩写开阔眼界的。

when引导的时间状语从句，因为主句的主语是you,从句的主语一样是you,且从句含有be动词，所以省去了“you are”back at home 是副词短语，“返回家”that we think is normal。

，这是定语从句，修饰限定life. we think是插入语，不做成分。be caught up in, 表示“受困于”。最后，我们再来读一读这篇文章。
